On 21 June 2022 H.E.Mr. Poj Harnpol, Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka, attended the handover ceremony of 10,000 doses of Erythropoietin (EPO) vaccinations (valued at LKR 40 million) from INSEE Cement (a subsidiary company of Siam City Cement Public Company) to the Ministry of Health of Sri Lanka. Also participated in the ceremony were Mr. Nandana Ekenayake, Chairman of INSEE Cement, Dr. Asela Gunawardena, Director General of Health Services of the Ministry of Health, and Dr. Anver Hamdani, Director – Medical Technology Services and a number of local media. On this occasion, the Ambassador reiterated that the embassy is determined to help Sri Lanka during the time of crisis and is working closely with Thai entities and organizations to provide further humanitarian assistance to Sri Lanka in the near future.
