On 1 September 2021, Mr. Tayatat Kanjanapipatkul, Counsellor, and Ms. Preeyanit Lumjiak, First Secretary, participated on behalf of the Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo in the handing-over ceremony of 19 Oxygen Concentrators and 45 Oximeters donated from the Government of Thailand to the Government of Sri Lanka upon the request of the Sri Lankan Government to contain the widespread of the prevalent COVID-19 pandemic in the country. Admiral Prof. Jayanath Colombage, Foreign Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Sri Lanka, received the donations on behalf of the Government of Sri Lanka.
 
On this occasion, the Embassy made additional donation comprising of 2 Mini Ventilators and 160 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Government of Sri Lanka to assist in managing the current COVID-19 widespread in the country. This donation is a part of the Embassy's project to foster bilateral relations between Thailand and Sri Lanka through the provision of assistance in medical equipment at the time of Covid-19 pandemics. The donation also served to introduce innovative medical products made in Thailand.
