From 14 April 2019 onwards, holders of valid passports or travel documents issued by the Republic of Maldives are eligible for visa exemption when entering Thailand for the purpose of tourism, and upon receiving permission to enter Thailand, will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period of not exceeding 30 days.
