On 13 December 2019, H.E.Mrs.Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Ambassador of Thailand, paid a courtesy call upon H.E.Mr.Gotabaya  Rajapaksa, President of Sri Lanka, at the Presidential Secretariat together with Ambassadors and Charge d’Affaires from ASEAN member states who resides in Colombo (Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Viet Nam). The Ambassador, on behalf of the ASEAN missions in Colombo, felicitates the President on the election victory, and expresses the readiness of the ASEAN countries to cooperate with Sri Lanka, particularly on economic development, expansion of inbound investment, and promotion of Sri Lanka as a tourist destination.
