Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka attended the launch event of THAI Smile Airways direct flights between Bangkok and Colombo.

 

On 5 May 2022, Mr. Poj Harnpol, Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka, attended the launch event for THAI Smile Airways direct flights between Bangkok and Colombo at the Silk Lounge, Bandaranayake International Airport. The event was organized to promote the commencement of THAI Smile Airways direct flight between Bangkok and Colombo which has operated since 1 May 2022. On the occasion, the Ambassador addressed the media stating that it was a great pleasure to witness the resumption of direct flight between Bangkok and Colombo operated by THAI Smile, a subsidiary of THAI Airways. The Ambassador wished THAI Smile Airways a great success, and hoped that the flights will help increase the number of tourists between the two countries and promote closer relations between the two countries, especially people-to-people relations.
