On 4 May 2022 at 11.00 hrs., H.E. Mr. Poj Harnpol, Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka, together with officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo, participated in a ceremony to commemorate the Coronation Day of His Majesty the King at the chancery of the Embassy.

After the ceremony, the Embassy organized a school lunch for underprivileged children at Sri Gunananda Vidyala School, Colombo 13. This primary school is located next to the Dipaduttamarama Temple. It was founded by Prince Prisdang, while ordained as a Buddhist monk in Sri Lanka, and held the position of the Chief Incumbent of the Temple. Currently, around 70 underprivileged children enroll in the school.
