On 6 June 2022, the Royal Thai Embassy organized a school lunch for underprivileged children at Sri Gunananda Vidyala School, Colombo 13 on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen 2022. Sri Gunananda Vidyala is a primary school located next to the Dipaduttamarama Temple. It was founded by Prince Prisdang, while ordained as a Buddhist monk in Sri Lanka, and held the position of the Chief Incumbent of the Temple. Currently, around 70 underprivileged children enroll in the school.
