Excellency,

 

I am suddenly shocked and saddened to learn of the series of horrific explosions that occurred in the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on 21 April 2019. In this moment of mourning, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to Your Excellency and to the bereaved families of those innocent people who lost their lives as well as those who were injured in this dreadful event. 

Thailand joins the international community in strongly condemning this despicable act of violence and stands in solidarity with the Government of Sri Lanka and her people during this difficult time.
