On 2 December 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo organized a senior lunch for senior residents of the St. Mary’s Home for the Elderly in Colombo. The Home was founded in 1888 by the Little Sisters of the Poor, and currently hosts around 90 senior residents.

At the event, Ambassador Chulamanee Chartsuwan together with officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy, Thai Airways International, and members of the Thai community in Colombo offer meals to approximately 90 senior residents. Participants also made cash donation on behalf of the Thai community in Sri Lanka. Other items such as rice, cooking oil, tea, milk powder, detergent, water jug, etc., were also donated.
