Thai Ambassador to Maldives paid a courtesy call on Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives

On 29 January 2015,  H.E. Mr. Nopporn Adchariyavanich, Thai Ambassador to Maldives paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Ms Dunya Maumoon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives. Both sides discussed the following matters :  (1) water crisis in Malé in December 2014 (2) the draft Agreement between Thailand and Maldives on Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports (3) the ratification of the Treaty between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Maldives on the Transfer of Offenders and on Co–operation in the Enforcement of Penal Sentences and (4) Thailand – Maldives Development Cooperation Programme 2014 – 2016. On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Nopporn also presented H.E. Ms. Dunya the money transferring document at the amount of US $ 50,000 to the Government of Maldives as the donation from the Government of Thailand in order to help ease the fresh water crisis in Malé.
