On 29 July 2021, H.E. Mr. Poj Harnpol, Ambassador-Designated of Thailand to Sri Lanka, called on H.E. Mr. Thussara Rodrigo, Chief of Protocol, Foreign Ministry of Sri Lanka, to hand over a copy of the Letter of Credence upon the assumption of duty as the new Thai Ambassador to Sri Lanka. On this occassion, both sides discussed on the cuurent sitation of the COVID-19 pandemic in Sri Lanka and Thailand, and ways forward to further enhance relations and cooperation between Thailand and Sri Lanka in all dimentions.
