In addition to the documents required through the official e-Visa portal, applicants submitting their visa applications through the Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo are required to provide the following additional supporting documents, depending on the type of visa being applied for.

Documents from the Sri Lankan Company

• Cover letter from the applicant clearly stating the purpose of the visit to Thailand.
• Business Registration Certificate issued in Sri Lanka.

Documents from the Thai Company

• Invitation letter from the Thai company.
• Department of Business Development (DBD), Ministry of Commerce Certificate, issued within the last 6 months.

Documents from the Sri Lankan Company

• Cover letter from the applicant clearly stating the purpose of the visit to Thailand.
• Business Registration Certificate issued in Sri Lanka.
• Valid relevant license issued in Sri Lanka, such as a Gem License, where applicable to the applicant’s business activities.

Documents from the Thai Company

• Invitation letter from the Thai company.
• Department of Business Development (DBD), Ministry of Commerce Certificate, issued within the last 6 months.

• All submitted documents must be clear, complete, and legible.
• Documents issued in languages other than English or Thai must be accompanied by an official English or Thai translation.
• The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to request additional supporting documents or an interview if deemed necessary.
• Submission of the above documents does not guarantee visa approval. The decision to grant or refuse a visa rests solely with the Royal Thai Embassy.
• Visa application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including if the application is cancelled, rejected, or additional documents are requested after submission.
• Once a visa has been issued its details cannot be amended. Please ensure that all information entered in the application is accurate before submitting it.
