During the ceremony, 10 monks from Gangaramaya Temple and Jayasekararamaya Temple offered blessing to Her Majesty the Queen. Afterwards, participants offered dhana and alms to the 10 monks. In addition to this religious ceremony, the Embassy also opened a book for participants to write congratulatory messages. The book will remain opened at the chancery of the Embassy until 10 June 2019 (except on Embassy’s holiday).
