       The Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo wishes to inform that the Royal Thai Government has introduced the “Multiple Entry Tourist Visa” (METV), which will be effective from 13 November 2015 onwards.

        The applicant who wishes to apply for a tourist visa at the Royal Thai Embassy may apply either one of the following:

       1.  Tourist visa with single entry – application fee 4,600 LKR with visa validity of three (3) months and duration of stay - up to sixty (60) days.

      2.   Tourist visa with multiple entries – application fee 23,000 LKR with visa validity of six (6) months and the duration of stay - up to sixty (60) days per visit.

      In this regard, tourist visa with double or three entries will no longer be issued by the Royal Thai Embassy starting from 13 November 2015.
