The Royal Thai Embassy and Siam Nivasa Colombo proudly organized a very successful Workshop on March 21, 2025, at Siam Nivasa, in collaboration with 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐟 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧 and 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐟 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥, moderated by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐋𝐮𝐤𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚.
 
Guests learned cooking techniques while enjoying the bold flavors of Isan cuisine, with the iconic 𝐏𝐥𝐚-𝐫𝐚 (fermented fish) as the star ingredient. The workshop provided a space for guests to share culinary skills, exchange cooking tips, and explore authentic recipes from Thailand’s Isan province.
 
Participants were introduced to traditional Isan cooking methods and ingredients, with 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐟 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 and 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐟 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 demonstrating techniques that brought the flavors and essence of Northeast Thailand to life. The workshop highlighted the richness of Isan cuisine and its connection to family-centered dining traditions.
