On 16 March 2021, Mr.Tayatat Kanjanapipatkul, Charge' d'Affaires of the Embassy together with officials from the Embassy made a donation of a Mini Ventilator to the Lanka Hospital in Colombo. Mr. Deepthi Lokuarachchi, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Lanka Hospital, together with representatives of doctors and officers of COVID-19 centre, received the ventilator on behalf of the hospital. This donation is a part of the Embassy's project to foster bilateral relations between Thailand and Sri Lanka through the provision of assistance in medical equipment at the time of Covid-19 pandemics. The donation also served to introduce innovative medical products made in Thailand as an alternative for foreign procurement.
