On 28 July 2022, the Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo organised the alms offering ceremony to 5 monks at the Gangaramaya Temple, Colombo, on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua. The monks chanted the Jayamangala Gatha to bless His Majesty the King. On this occasion, H.E. Poj Harnpol, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Sri Lanka, presided over the ceremony. The event was attended by officials from the Royal Thai Embassy and Thai nationals residing in Sri Lanka. After the conclusion of the religious ceremony, H.E. the Ambassador and all officials of the Royal Thai Embassy paid homage to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua in a commemoration ceremony organised at the chancery of the Embassy.
