The Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo promotes a business networking between Thailand and Sri Lanka

After the signing of Sri Lanka – Thailand Free Trade Agreement (SLTFTA) in Colombo on 3 February 2024, H.E. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand and Hon. Ranil Wikremesinghe, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka jointly delivered opening remarks at the Sri Lanka – Thailand Business Networking Forum in Colombo on the same day. The Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo supported the coordination of the event organized by the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand and Thai Trade Centre in Chennai and supported by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Trade, Commerce and Food Security of Sri Lanka.

ภายหลังจากการลงนามความตกลงการค้าเสรีไทย – ศรีลังกา เมื่อวันที่ 3 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 ที่กรุงโคลัมโบ นายเศรษฐา ทวีสิน นายกรัฐมนตรีแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย และนายรานิล วิกรมสิงเห ประธานาธิบดีแห่งสาธารณรัฐสังคมนิยมประชาธิปไตยศรีลังกา ร่วมกันกล่าวเปิดงาน Sri Lanka – Thailand Business Networking Forum ในวันเดียวกัน โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโคลัมโบ ได้สนับสนุนการประสานงานในการจัดงาน ซึ่งจัดโดยกระทรวงพาณิชย์และสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ เมืองเจนไน และสนับสนุนโดยสภาหอการค้าซีลอนและกระทรวงการค้า พาณิชย์และความมั่นคงทางอาหารศรีลังกา
