The celebration on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of
the Ninth Reign’s 85^th birthday anniversary on 12 August 2017.

            On 12 August 2017, the Royal Thai Embassy organised the celebration on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of the Ninth Reign’s 85^th birthday anniversary at the Ambassador’s residence. The ceremony commenced at 10.30 hrs. H.E. Mrs. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Thai  Ambassador to
Sri Lanka, paid respect to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and led the Thai Community in Sri Lanka to deliver the congratulatory speech for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on the occasion of her 85^th birthday anniversary. Then, 5 monks chanted holy stanzas to bless Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. H.E. Mrs. Chulamanee, together with officials from the Royal Thai Embassy, Team Thailand and the Thai community gave food and offerings to 5 monks.  After the religious ceremony ended at 12.00 hrs., the Royal Thai Embassy invited Thai people to sign the book of blessing on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 85^th birthday anniversary.  Around 30 participants including officials from the Royal Thai Embassy, Team Thailand and Thai people attended the ceremony.
